Mark of the Ninja is a side scrolling action stealth video game. Mark of the Ninja consists of stealth-oriented 2D platforming. The character is required to sneak through a series of environments while staying out of sight of guards and performing silent assassinations. Levels are divided into areas of light and darkness; the player character is visible to enemies in the former and invisible in the latter, though passing within a certain immediate distance of an enemy’s face results in the player being spotted irrespective of lighting. Sounds such as running may also give away the player character’s location and are represented visually by a rapidly expanding circle. In the Story Mode, players take part in consecutive races, one after the other, based on the storyline, in order to defeat the Babylon Rogues and win the Grand Prix.

These can also be cancelled from standard Desperation Moves, making them similar to the Dream Cancels from The King of Fighters XI.

In the midst of a zombie outbreak and shortly after the death of Daryl Dixon’s father Will Dixon, Daryl and his half-uncle Jess Collins escape their mountain shelter in Cabot Ridge to gather supplies in the nearby town of Sedalia. During the scavenger hunt for fuel, Daryl meets Jimmy Blake, the last standing police officer of Sedalia, on the top of a roof, who requested Daryl to find radio batteries to call for help. In a nearby gas station, Daryl meets Warren Bedford, who gives fuel to Daryl under the condition that he joins the group. The quartet then escapes with the newly acquired fuel, this time heading to Pemberton.
